This policy explains what personal information Practised Solutions (ABN 50 439 123 924, "we", "us") collects through this website and in the course of our work, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If anything here is unclear, ask through the contact form and a person will answer.
What we collect
Information you give us: when you use the contact or leak check forms we collect your name, business email address and phone number (whichever you provide), and business details such as industry, team size, turnover band and whatever you write in your message. If we work together, we collect what the engagement needs.
Information collected automatically: our spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots. When our analytics and advertising tags are active, cookies and similar identifiers record how you found the site and which pages you visit. Details under "Analytics and advertising" below.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and run the leak check you asked for
- To deliver and administer engagements, including invoicing
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To measure whether our advertising works and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site
We do not sell personal information. We do not send newsletters or marketing sequences unless you have enquired with us, and anything promotional we ever send identifies us and contains a working unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.
Form submissions arrive as email in our Microsoft 365 mailbox, and you receive an automatic confirmation from the same mailbox. Follow-up replies come from a person. Microsoft hosts this mail on our behalf.
Analytics and advertising
The site uses, or is set up to use, the following third-party tags. Each involves cookies or similar identifiers set by that provider:
- Google Analytics 4 for site usage statistics
- Google Ads conversion measurement and remarketing. You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) conversion measurement and remarketing. You can control this at facebook.com/adpreferences
You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Who else handles the information
Service providers who run parts of our infrastructure: Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection), Microsoft (email), Google and Meta (analytics and advertising, when active). These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not otherwise disclose personal information unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
Security and retention
The site runs over HTTPS, form processing credentials are stored encrypted, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need them. We keep personal information while it is needed to handle your enquiry or engagement and to meet record-keeping obligations, then delete it. If you want your details removed sooner, ask.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
